Each year many infants are matched with loving parents through St. Peter Maternity and Adoption Services, a program of Catholic Charities, the family services arm of Associated Catholic Charities. Both birth mothers and parents-to-be are guided through the important adoption process and are assured complete confidentiality.  Contact Anne McInnis, 901.722.4711, or by email.

Pregnancy isn't easy, especially when you are on your own. The adoption staff at St. Peter's is here for women making this difficult decision and to support them during their pregnancies. Housing, prenatal care, maternity clothing, counseling and individual childbirth classes are some of the many services offered without charge.

Birth mothers are offered assistance in screening prospective parents and selecting the best families for their children. Mothers also are given the opportunity to meet the adoptive parents they select.

Through the help of professional counselors who understand this difficult time, birth mothers find comfort in the loving sacrifice they have made.

Each year, St. Peter Maternity and Adoption Services offers hope for couples who are not able to conceive, along with the support they need during the adoption process.

Adoptive parents are educated on the importance of respecting the feelings and concerns of the birth mother and sharing the beautiful adoption story with their children as they grow.
